WHS Senior Rayce Koerner – He’s Movin’ On Up!

KWHS Video

You remember Feb. 19th when Senior Rayce Koerner sunk a trey towards the end of the Mulvane game here at home. It was a glorious shot and nearly the end to Rayce’s usual job as team manager. Coach Newman suited Rayce up that night, the last home game of the season and it turned out to be a tremendous memory maker for all that were present. Rayce’s dream for a long time has been to move on after HS and be a team manager for a college or professional team...his dream has gotten off to an awesome start – Rayce is the official Team Manager now for the MLBA professional basketball team, the WICHITA WIZARDS! Their first action was this past weekend and Rayce was there, doing his thing. Mark Creed, a 1980 WHS graduate is a part of the organization. The WIZARDS are off to a 2-0 start and the word from Mr. Rayce Koerner is HE LOVES IT!

Rayce Koerner – WICHITA WIZARDS Team Manager

Here’s a quote from the WICHITA WIZARDS re: their new team manager (Rayce Koerner)…

“…so glad he decided to be a part of our family!. Everyone loves him…no surprise!!” Mark Creed / Wichita Wizards

Congratulations to Rayce and to the Wizards! A great combo for sure!!!
