Some great news was released over the weekend. WHS Football Senior Kenny Fehrman was selected to participate in this year’s SHRINE BOWL, an honored and traditional early summer event that has been around since 1974. The 2021 version is slated for June 26th at Gowans Stadium in Hutchinson.

Fehrman, an Offensive and Defensive Lineman for the Crusaders, rec’d 1st and 2nd team league honors this past season respectively and just recently signed to play football in South Dakota at Mount Mary University as a DL. Kenny is the son of Ray Fehrman and Stephanie Smith, and the stepson of Wellington’s MS and HS athletic director, Luke Smith. Congratulations to Kenny – he’ll be playing on the WEST team and we’ll have more details about all of that, soon!
