IRONDUKES Down Mulvane – Will Play @ HOME This Friday vs Ark City!

The now (3-5) IRONDUKES pulled in their 2nd win in as many weeks, downing the Mulvane Wildcats Friday evening at Sellers Park, 20-13! It was a close contest, knotted at 7 at halftime. The Crusaders were able to put points on the board and the defense kept the Wildcats out of the endzone the last 13+ minutes of the game. Strong showing by QB Berkeley Wright who passed for 177 yds, including a 57 yarder to Cope Henry. Dustyn Schettler shined, 218 yds of offense from this young man, including a 64 yd romp to paydirt! Total offense for the Crusaders – over 400 yds (411), which is the first time this season to break the 400 yd barrier.

Coming up this Friday, the first bracketed playoff game for 2020 – we’ll be hosting (2-6) Ark City who have wins over Winfield and Goddard Ike and losses against Andover, Goddard, Maize, Salina-Central, Valley Center, and Andover Central this past Friday.
