Great Turnout @ PROJECT PROM 2020 SWIM PARTY!

PROJECT PROM’s SWIM PARTY 2020 was held last evening (SUNDAY), out at the Wellington Family Aquatic Center. Since PROM and all other 2020 SPRING activities and events had been cancelled due to COVID-19, the PROJECT PROM folks thought it would be nice to hold the SWIM PARTY for the Classes of 2020 and 2021, and it was. A good-sized group was in attendance and all received “temperature” checks upon entering. There was an awesome supply of food, i.e. big cheese pizza, Travelin’ Smoke pulled pork, Brown Box cupcakes, sno cones, and more. Unbelievable prizes, “2” 40-inch flatscreen TV’s, “4” 32-inch flatscreen TV’s, bluetooth speakers, headsets, sound bars, and more.

Numerous water-related events and contests took place using kayaks, inflatable roosters, and an inflatable shark. There was a Cornhole Tournament as well. Brad Ewing DJ’d the event with some awesome mixes. Kudos to the PROJECT PROM folks and to the Classes of 2020 and 2021. These are unusual times for sure. It was awesome to see these classes together and enjoying each other’s presence, for the last time (as classes). Such is life, unfortunately.
