4A BOYS SUB-STATE WRESTLING @ McPherson HS

On Saturday, WHS Junior Hagen Wright was in 4A Sub-State wrestling action at McPherson HS. A 4th place or higher finish would qualify Hagen for his 2nd consecutive appearance at the 4A State Wrestling Meet in Salina this coming Saturday, Feb. 26th.

In the end, Hagen came up just one match win short of that end goal but finished the season with a remarkable record of 31-6! Hagen will be back next year and will give it his best shot!

Action on Saturday:

Defeated Drake Van Scoyoc of Pratt by FALL @ 3:59 mark.
Lost to Declan Ryan of Colby by 1-5 decision
Lost to Brandon Parker of Abilene by FALL @ 4:24 mark.
