2018 WHS Graduate Aaron Schoemann Named to ALL-KCAC Team!

CONGRATULATIONS to 2018 WHS Graduate Aaron Schoemann! Way to represent Aaron!!

OTTAWA, Kan. – The 2019 KCAC Football Teams have been released the conference office announced on Monday afternoon. The Braves had 13 student-athletes named to the All-KCAC Teams, they are; Jacob Garcia, Connor Kaegi, Colby Johnson, Colton Davis, Dylan Foos, Karim Powell, Cole Pack, Grayson Work-Fields, Carlos Taylor, Jr., Aaron Schoemann, Matthew Blankenship, Jaylin King, and Devin Johnston.

Schoemann, a sophomore defensive lineman from Wellington, Kan., earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors. In 10 games, he had 62 tackles (33 solo/29 assisted, six sacks, and 17 tackles for loss. Schoemann is ranked 14th in the NAIA in total tackles for loss (17) and 15th in tackles for loss per game (1.7).

Steve graduated from Wellington High School in 1974 and then Wichita State University (with honors) in 1979 with a B.S. Degree in Administration of Justice; his minor was in Sociology. Steve has held several positions ranging from Juvenile Court Service Officer, to District Manager in Circulation at the Wichita Eagle, Q.A. Planner at Boeing, Caregiver, Psychiatric Technician, Limo Driver, Ranch Hand, Photographer, Webmaster and Website Developer and a die hard Crusader Fan since the early 1960's.
