The Grain of Faith Luke 17:5-6
Jesus was talking about the beginning of Faith the seed is not the finished product it is the genesis of the miracle. He used the Greek word "Ko Kos" The "Kernel" we can use the word "Cocoon" where it all begins The word is only used 7 times in Scripture It is used as a Grain of Wheat (John 12:24) or A grain of Mustard seed. WHY MUSTARD SEED?
Mat 13:32 " Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becometh a tree," (Small beginnings bring great thing)
Faith Stings-
The Word Mustard seed is to "Sting" or "Burn"
It is no Accident that the Subject was Forgiveness and then faith. Faith and forgiveness are eternally Linked together here. Mat 17:19-20 " the disciples(asked) " Why could not we cast him out? :20 And Jesus said " Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of Mustard Seed
Faith always grows in the rocky soil of Negativity There is no need for faith in the deep top soil of blessings
Sickness torment pain and problems are always the soil that faith grows in
Faith Speaks -
"ye might say" Faith always says- Faith cant be quiet. It you have to be reminded to "say", there is something wrong with your seed
God is a speaking God and we are designed in His image to be Speaking People. God always speaks befoie He acts and we must speak
Faith Sees (The impossible) Change Thing
The sycamore is actually the Egyptian Fig Tree or a species of Mulberry tree. It was a fruit baring Tree.
Luke is the only Writer that refers to the Sycamine or Sycamore tree (Zacchaeus, Luke 19:4) - The Difference was in their fruit- One was a black color and one was a white color-
Rearranging the Garden is never thought of We build around trees or remove them.
Faith Sees the tree gone- Faith also sees it growing at the bottom of the sea! ( The Root word of Planted Means to Thrive or Flourish- IN THE SEA
Faith Searches for the root Seizes From the root-
the Teachings of the Rabbis of the day were called "rooters up of mountains", because they were dexterous in removing difficulties, solving cases of conscience,
Faith always deals with Roots never fruit- Since this species of tree had been brought from Egypt in the exodus hey had been planted by someone- Generations ago. They had been put there for a reason and now it was in the way.

Mark 11:23- "Shall not doubt in His heart" The Heart is the root of your being. God Does HEART SURGURY NOT HEAD SURGURY.
