Make That "5" Wins In A Row For The Varsity Boys Crusaders!

The WHS Varsity Boys basketball team is on a roll the past couple weeks, winning five in a row with victories over Belle Plaine, Clearwater, Kingman, Rose Hill and now Mulvane on Friday night - final score 63-57! Junior Trevor Nance lead scorers with 24 - Trevor has 109 points during these past "5" victories! Juniors Colin Reichenberger and Austin Dunn are firing on all cylinders as well. The team is having fun and you can tell it!

WHS Senior Wrestler Taylon Lamkin Finishes 2nd @ Rose Hill Invitational

The Wellington Crusaders, along with 20 other teams (Andale, Andover Central, Augusta, Caney Valley, Chanute, Concordia, Derby, El Dorado, Fort Scott, Hays, Hutchinson, Independence, Larned, Maize South, McPherson, Mulvane, Rose Hill, Salina Central, Valley Center, Winfield) wrapped up 2 days of competition Saturday at the Rose Hill Invitational at Rose Hill High School.

Varsity Basketball SWEEP @ WHS Thursday Evening!

Both the Crusaders and Lady Crusaders pulled out victories Thursday evening in the make-up contests (from Tue, Feb. 4, 2014) to add to their respective "win" columns. The Lady Crusaders dominated the Lady Rockets, downing them 77-50 to move to 8-5 on the season! Scoring big for Wellington were Lauryn Snipes and Carlie McComb, both with 22 pts. a piece!
