Wellington Police Department to hold Prescription Drug Take Back Day

On Saturday, September 27, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Wellington Police Department and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) will give the public its ninth opportunity in three years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.

Local Blood Drive September 26

It will be a "Battle of the Badges" on Friday, September 26 when the Red Cross Bloodmobile makes it's visit to Wellington. Our officers will continue to save lives on and off the job!

The blood drive will take place at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 201 East Harvey, from 9:45 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

WHS Varsity Girls Tennis Host & Win Invitational Tuesday!

Congratulations to the WHS Varsity Lady Crusader Tennis players who hosted Chaparral, Collegiate and Kingman on Tuesday and walked away with the 1st place trophy, edging out Collegiate 32-25. The playing conditions were  VERY HOT AND WINDY  Here are the overall team results and medalists:
