As we reported over the weekend, the AVCTL DIV IV LEAGUE HONORS were announced and WHS Senior Grace Mitchell was named to the League's FIRST TEAM and was also named the AVCTL DIV IV MVP! This was the 2nd year in a row for Mitchell for MVP Honors - at Derby, her junior year, Grace was named the AVCTL DIV I MVP!

Those honors continue this week - the Wichita Eagle All-Star Girls Basketball team awardees (as chosen by Eagle Sports Writer Joanna Chadwick) were announced and Wellington's Grace Mitchell, along with Kendrian Elliott and Erika Mattingly of Wichita South, Kylah Comley of Sterling and Brenni Rose of Shawnee Mission NW make up that FAB 5!

Congratulations Grace - you've had a marvelous season and post-season - the honors were earned and deserved! Awesome job young lady!!
