School Redesign Project Meetings Set For Wednesday, Jan. 17 & Thursday, Jan. 18


A Town Hall Meeting is planned to hear Dr. Mark Whitener and others speak on the plans and procedures for redesigning schools in the 21st Century. This meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, in the Wellington High School Auditorium.


The public is also invited to attend a Forum on the School redesign project to be held on Thursday, January 18, 7 p.m. at the office of Sumner County Economic Development, 314 N. Washington and sponsored by the Women for Kansas Sumner County. Dr. Whitener will be present at this meeting also.


Wellington is one of the seven school districts in the state to be awarded the Kansas Can School Redesign Project, sponsored by the Kansas State Department of Education.
